Too often you see small wineries try to produce 8 or 10 different wines with average results. It is refreshing to come across one that keeps their focus on a limited line-up at which they can excel. No one perhaps has a sharper focus than Bruce and Anna-Barbara Helliwell at Unison Vineyard. They produce two primary wines: Unison and Unison Selection. Both are blends of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah which draw high scores from the reviewers. They have added a Rosé to the short list. A Tuscan influence can be found in their side line of olive oil and Balsamic vinegar.
