Central Otago Wine Company, "COWCo", is a partnership which includes winemaker Dean Shaw and actor Sam Neill. Originally, COWCo was set up as a winemaking facilty with Dean Shaw handling the winemaking for nine or so small estates in Central Otago. Thes include Sam Neill's Two Paddocks, Sleeping Dogs, Mt. Maude, Clay Cliffs, and Dry Gully. Beginning with the 2002 vintage, some wine is produced ynder the COWCo label.
