Mountford Estate is poised to be one of the premier makers of Pinot Noir in New Zealand. The Waipara region is full of potential and Mountford has already established a solid reputation. The winemaker is CP Lin who is blind. A feature article on Mr. Lin can be found in the October 2001 "White" issue of Wine magazine. Now, if I just find of a bottle of their Chardonnay.
