Sileni Estates is a fairly new winery in Hawke's Bay, purchased grapes in 1998 and their own vinyards coming on-line in 2002. The photos of the winery are revealing. The winery is a showchase property; the proprietors are serious about becoming a prime-time player. A restaurant, private lodgings, and culinary program complete the Napa lifestyle approach. Winemaking goals at set toward the high end of the scale for a solid export business. Ratings are solid for a newcomer.
